Welcome to the Southbourne Creative Hub

the hub front

Southbourne Creative Hub is a not-for-profit social enterprise promoting the creative arts in Southbourne.
We are open during the day, evening and at weekends, providing activities for people of all ages.

It is our aim to be a base for the pool of creative talent that is positively spilling out of the local area. For those of you involved or interested in all things creative and cultural, you now have a space in which to teach others your craft, learn one for yourself, or simply meet new people who share your passion for creative expression, whether it’s singing, belly dancing, creative writing and much more.  See our What’s On page for details.

We also help to contribute to the creative environment and atmosphere of Southbourne, by raising awareness of local culture and history and by collaborating with local organisations such as The Friends of Fisherman’s Walk and the Southbourne Business Association to bring about new initiatives such as the Southbourne Music Festival.  We are also developing our work to provide opportunities for those who need support to participate such as our Jericho Art Group for vulnerable adults.

There’s no doubt that we live in one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of the country, amongst fascinating, creative people from all walks of life. With the opening of the Southbourne Creative Hub, we are now able to get together to celebrate our creative community in a positive and proactive way.
